Country Music Storytellers: Beyond the Chorus is a captivating live music experience that takes audiences beyond the songs they know and into the stories that made them unforgettable.

Led by Rob Williams and brought to life by a talented live band, the show combines authentic country music performances with fascinating stories, surprising facts and relaxed conversation. Audiences discover what inspired the songs, who wrote them, how they came together and the artists who helped turn them into classics.

This isn’t a traditional tribute show. The band doesn’t attempt to imitate the original performers or recreate them note for note. Instead, every song is performed with respect for its original character while being given the band’s own distinctive sound, chemistry and personality.

Drawing inspiration from intimate music programs such as VH1 Storytellers, each performance feels warm, genuine and engaging. Rob and the band guide the audience through country music’s defining eras—from timeless classics and influential songwriters to modern chart-topping favourites. Along the way, they share the human stories, creative decisions and unexpected connections hidden behind the music.

The flexible song catalogue means no two performances need to be exactly the same. Stories and songs can be selected to suit the audience, venue or occasion, creating a show that feels personal and alive every time it takes the stage.
